Switching between modes

Multiple modes

In the tivatrainer, you can switch between four different modes.

• Manual mode
  For adding bolusses and infusions manually.

• TCI mode
  For simulating blood Target Controlled Infusions (TCI).
  For more information, see TCI mode.

• ETCI
  For simulating Effect Target Controlled Infusions (ETCI).
  For more information, see ETCI mode.

• IV-assist
  For approximating (E)TCI by manual controlled bolus and infusion.
  For more information, see IVassist mode.

Switching between modes

All simulations start in Manual mode.

• A switch to TCI is shown at 3 seconds .
• A switch to ETCI is shown at 10 seconds .
• A switch to IVassist is shown at 15 seconds .
